8 F15C's taxied out whilst it was still dark before the sun was up, these were quite slow shutter speeds but I like the soft light on them, the dawn departures on full burner were quite breathtaking too!

There was some nice stormy light throughout the day as it rained a couple of times too...

A pretty amazing sky for this missed low approach by an F15E.

These are very nice, but if the first ones were when it was "still dark before the sun was up,", it might be good to see darker versions of them, too.

Did I miss #4, or is 4 number 5? Lol, number 5 is very cool and dramatic.

Thanks for the comments sorry I can't count! The fourth photo is numbered as '5'.

Bob, it is RAF lakenheath.

Photosguy the light was just starting to touch the top of the canopies so I suppose these are not a lot brighter than what I actually saw, I've exposed them as such for the detail, maybe my description was off a bit. You're welcome to edit one darker if you like.

Greentouch thanks, first 2 are 400 f5.6 l rest are 70-200 f4 is l both on a 50d.
