It finally happened today on a shoot with a model and two Nissan Skylines. #!@##$%#%, good thing I kept my Rebel sidearm as a backup.

It came off clean, I had been wondering if it had the mirror fix, now my question has been answered.

Doesn't this fall under their recall on the 5Dc mirrors? How do I send this thing in to get it fixed? Also may have the shutter replaced while it's there.

Just send mine for a fix less than a month ago for no charge, but you have to call them first. You can tell that it's been fixed before just by looking at both edges of the mirror itself.

I emailed them. They sent me (emailed) a prepaid return label to attach to the box and I mailed it off last week. According to the on-line tracking they received it today.

Yes, of course. Probably easier than calling.
