But the "open" button is greyed out, meaning I can not open the section/folder to upload. I can upload images to the galleries okay. Has any one see this before and sorted it?  HOSTED PHOTO please log in to view hosted photos in full size.

It's looking for a JPEG type file, is that the format you are using?
