crop makes it feel weird at the top. with the edge and the line of the building not parallel. Also looks a bit over processed and grainy. not bad though.

Or just re-take the shot all together, originally I'd tried to capture the whole clock tower, this time I focused more on capturing the mouse/wreath.

Thought I'd try my hand at it (hope you don't mind someone else editing your file)... I toned down the brick, tightened the crop, and filled in the opening at the top left.

Nope, that's fine - I left the hole in on purpose, kind of thought of it as a "mouse hole" :)

I kinda like what you did, except now the red on the mouse stands out too much IMO.
