I got my first chance for weeks to go and visit my garden springtails in the leaf litter today. My best was this 5-shot focus stack of one of the globulars (I think it's Dicyrtomina saundersi, but I'm sure I'll be corrected if necessary!), which kindly stood still for a short time. This was MP-E65, lit by MT-24EX, on 7D at 4x and cropped a bit to maximise the detail. For those unfamiliar with the subject, these guys are about 2mm (less than 1/8") long.
