I was putting the battery in my 1D and noticed stamped code in the body where the battery terminals are at. It says OY0607, which would corespond with the purchase year. It was bought in nov of 2010. Just curious.

Jan 08, 2012 19:00 | #2 Yes.. the date code is ink stamped at the bottom of the battery compartment.. O is the factory, U would be '06, V is '07, and so on.. .... Got some cameras; got some glass ..... I just need one more of each.....
