I know there has been discussion on here about Groupon. I found the discussion very interesting and I learn a lot. I definitely learned I would NOT be doing a Groupon. I got this offer/e-mail from Living Social: http://www.livingsocial.com/cities/229/deals/54925 (external link)

Now disregard the quality of the photographers work for a moment. How do Living Social deals work? How do they compare to Groupon? Has any one done a Living Social offer? How did it work out?

TIA

Jeni

Other than their cut perhaps being different, it's the same exact concept.

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

I would not even bother with Living Social or Groupon unless you have chain of studios and staff to run it. Last year (Nov) I bought a Living Social deal for $10. That included In-Studio Photo Shoot with One 8x10, Two 5x7s, and Eight Wallet-Sized Images. Session last approximately 30 mins or less. Crazy but that is their model. They sold 5459. People pictures has 9 location. That is lot of shooting. I did not have a chance to use it yet, just wanted to see how the operation worked.. Interestingly my voucher expires 2/4/2012.
