Since it seems like everyone is posting Bald Eagle pictures, I might as well add mine. They were taken in Eastern Oklahoma (about 10 miles from the Arkansas state line). I never thought I would be able to get this close to Eagles in OK. Around New Years, I counted over 200 of them. They move around from chicken farm to chicken farm depending on which one is throwing out their dead chickens.

Beautiful series. #6 made me smile: You can tell by the beak the one on the right is a female....and she's fussing at her mate!

That last shot amazes me Bill! I didn't think you could get that many eagles together south of Alaska.
Overall though, #6 is my favorite. Love to see interactions like that.

robertnzana, it is East of Heavener, OK. There is a community known as Honatubby (doesn't have a Post Office so I don't know if you can classify it as a town) and they are found at two different chicken farms.

CamFan01, I knew about them last year but couldn't get anyone to show me where. This year the guy that has known about them for 10-15 years took me.

Thanks everyone.

I think they stick around til mid March or so. I'll be over that way this weekend to visit family so I plan on checking to see if they are still there.

I would make a trip down there, especially if L&D 14 is a bust this year. Care to share where this in on the map and any tips on where to park and shoot?
