Hi all, i have a question regarding the creative filters on the 60D. When i upload the images onto my computer from the SD card, they are automatically deleted once i take the card out, therefore giving me no way of viewing the shots on the card again and applying the filters. Can anyone please tell me how to do either of the following -
1. How can i upload the images without them being automatically deleted off the card once the upload is finished? OR
2. Is there any way i can still apply the creative filters once the images have been uploaded?
Cheers!

What mechanism are you using to get the images to the PC? For example, are you using the camera attached to the PC with Canon supplied software?. Are you using something else that gives you an option to "Move" vs "Copy"?

for 1, you can just open them from their folder by going to "My Computer" for XP or "Computer" on Vista etc and looking for the CF/SD card from there.

1. Depends on what software you're using to download the images. Most programs have some kind of a checkbox/preference asking if you want the photos deleted from the card after downloading them.

2. Unless DPP (the Canon software) has some way of applying those effects after the fact (I don't know, as I don't use DPP or a 60D), your only option is probably to apply effects in Photoshop or whatever the image editing program of your choice is.

Hmm, is there a sheepish emoticon? That's how i'm feeling. I've realised that i've been "cutting" instead of "copying". OOOOps. My bad.
Thanks for your help everyone!
