anywhere i can find these? looking to do a diy quick release neckstrap but all the optech plastic hooks come with some sort of strap, i just need the hooks to attach the stock strap to, then hook to adaptits or utility loop

They are very tiny and I clip them to my Canon neck strap and to adapt-it's on the camera. I leave my hand strap on the body so if I need to attach a neck strap it's two clips and done. -- Eric --

I've seen a couple of threads about scratching with metal parts of straps against the screen and have given me pause from doing exactly what you have... Their plastic swivel hooks come in many sizes. They seem to be identical to those on my Lowepro stuff. I use them because they're secure and scratch free on my gear.
