Hi all. I was hoping someone could give me some advice. After using an external flash on my 550D the internal flash wouldn't pop up and err 05 flashed in the viewfinder. After playing with that the viewfinder started to say err 80. I sent it back to Canon and they said there was rust inside the camera and the warranty was void. I did in the past drop the camera in some salt water so can't argue with the diagnosis. Anyway they wanted the same price as a new one to fix it! I have since bought a 7D but would like to fix my 550 D as it is a great camera. Could I fix this myself? Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly received. Thank you
