Ready to take the same crappy photos with a smaller format. :-)

Well, all I can say so far is it is really cool to use and the raw files process nicely. Doesn't appear to have any lens or body profiles in LR4, though.

Yes, Adobe need to get on the ball. An update now allows processing of the RAW files in CS5, but the latest and greatest LR4 will not open the files.

As we know, the battery (BLN-1) or an aftermarket for the OMD-EM5 is not available yet via Olympus or virtually any other source. Here I am with the camera and grip, but cannot take advantage of a second battery. Does a person dare take a risk on something like this?

LR 4.1 can open the files
Digital Negative Converter 6.7.0.339 can convert the files to DNG, then the DNGs can be opened by LR3/2
PS CS5 can open the files with the latest Camera Raw (I don't remember the version)
Aperture 3's latest update supports OM-D E-M5 RAW files
My iPad 3 can open the files straight off the SD card

While LR has no lens profiles, I think the camera does essentially the same thing in-camera. Not sure about this one since I only have the kit lens and I wouldn't expect it to vignette or have much distortion due to the rather 'standard' focal distance.

Both the OEM battery and after-market batteries are available (I bought one today a camera shop by my house), but I live overseas. For some reason supply to the US seems to be stunted for the camera body and accessories. That is NOT the case here in Asia.

Thanks! Need to get LR 4.1. As luck would have it, connectivity to the update server is presently down.

To be precise (on my part), it is update 4.1 RC2

I can open and edit the files just fine, just no lens profile or color profiles.

I wish I was still living in Asia. My local camera store would have had this camera in my hands by now!

Have you checked with Digital Camera Warehouse? Haven't they got spare batteries in stock?

I ordered with them just over a week ago, still no stock apparently for either the E-M5 or batteries.

In better news, got some cheap old OM lenses on eBay and a converter to use when it does finally arrive.

A friend of mine just cancelled their order with Digital Camera Warehouse after waiting for over two months. Camerapro does have some stock in both colours, but not the 12-50mm kits at the moment. JB is apparently out of stock now as well; I got mine from their first batch at the end of April.

Thanks for that! I've cancelled my order with DCW and placed one at CameraPro. (Cheaper also)
