With LR4 beta not supporting XP it has me thinking neither with CS6 when released. I'm just wondering how many still use XP.

I'm still running XPPro.

2 XP Home machines here that I won't be parting with any time soon!

edit: Forgot to mention I use Vista Home Premium 64bit almost daily in the evenings when not home. I use it as my off site backup and off site editing platform and the 6 gigs of ram sure beat the he11 out of the 2 gigs I use on the old XP platform at home. Even CS3's buggy Bridge runs smoother on it! . Also been using Win 7 Premium 64 bit on my Mom's new laptop because she isn't very computer savy but knows just enough to play some of her favorite games! :D

I am (sadly) using XP on my workstation -- right now I'm just not prepared to spend the money and time involved in upgrading it to Win7 64.

My laptop is Win7 64. I use it for "quick" stuff, it's actually fine for that even though it's a "cheap-o", but still my main photo editing machine is the XP one...

So for now, the LR4 Beta has been installed on the laptop to play with, but for the forseeable future I'm "stuck" with LR3 for my "serious" work.

I'm not complaining, things are the way they are, oh well!

I use W7 on the desktop and one of the laptops, XP on netbook. (Not counting the various distros of Linux I play with every now and then).

There's absolutely nothing wrong with still using XP, IMHO it was the first fully mature and stable OS that MS had produced.

This has come up because the upcoming Lightroom 4 will not support XP and, presumably, neither will Photoshop CS6 when it comes out, although there has not been an announcement about this. The Lightroom4 beta which just came out does come with that announcement.
