Has anyone managed to figure out if the Canon WFT-E5 network grip can access the FTP server that's available in the ReadyNAS NV+?

I can access the Windows XP Pro FTP-server from the camera, and I can access the ReadyNAS NV+ FTP-server from a computer, at least with anonymous login. But I can't make the camera access the ReadyNAS FTP. I get error 45 (login error, so it does see the FTP, just can't login to it).
