Who carry the 20mm f/1.8 lens? Everywhere I look they're $629 which is a lot more than they used to be. I've looked on eBay and the various FS boards and haven't seen anything worth jumping on.

Yeah, I watch that and it's $629 everywhere. I need it to pair with my 28mm version for copy work. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying one when they were $549.

If you wait long enough abes of maine puts out a sale every now and then on sigma lenses. usually 10% off or 8% off, plus the loyalty10 coupon (another $10 off) that is how i got my 50mm f/1.4 and a 17-50mm when i had my 60D.

some people have complained about a sales pitch phone call from them after their purchase (offering useless accessories) i purchased 2x from them and never received such a phone call... i did use google checkout, which may or may not have something to do with it

Body: 5D MK II
Glass: Canon 24-105mm L f/4, Tokina 16-28mm f/2.8, Sigma 50mm f/1.4, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro
Lights: 430EX II, YN 560, AB800

The last time I bought from them they refused to ship until they were able to do the phone sales pitch. I'd overlook that for this lens but the problem is as far as I can tell they don't carry the 20/24/28mm f/1.8 primes for some reason.

I saw that on the 180mm OS macro. Wonder how that was pulled off? Had to be a group using the distraction method.

$799 for the 150-500, I'd get it but only in Nikon mount right now.

Keep an eye on it. Apparently they don't have many of any type of lens. As soon as I purchased the 20mm it was gone from the Canon mount page. That was a real stroke of luck since I didn't see any other f/1.8 primes for any mount.
