I think I've seen photos of this place in the past, but where is it?

It's the so-called "Keyhole" at Pfeiffer Beach in Big Sur. The iconic shot of it, which you surely have seen many times before, shows the light rays beaming out through the hole, illuminating the mist in the air from waves having passed through the hole already. It's usually shot with a long lens, way off to the right of the hole, which will compress the scene more and thereby emphasize the rays shooting out. Looks great, but it's been done to death, so I took a bit different approach. :)

Thanks. It may have been done to death already but not as much as McWay Falls or Hurricane Point, and I've been to both of those so I'll check it out next time.
