Newb question. I only have two filters (77 & 72mm), both CPLs and was thinking about getting a small wallet to keep them handy in my bag, or possibly on my belt for easy access. The cases that can attach to your belt have a top flap held by velcro, but the sides are exposed and the tops of the filters can be seen. I would think that dust. lint could be a problem. Maybe I am being too anal. The one I was looking at is http://www.amazon.com …PAVI2/ref=pd_rhf_cr_p_t_2 (external link)

Will they stay clean in these open sided cases?

There are a lot of filter cases on B&H website. I really like the look of this one though. www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/830464-REG/LensCoat_LCFP2BK_FilterPouch_2_Black.html (external link)

That looks perfect. I really need to start looking at the big photo stores and not just buy every thing via Amazon.

Thanks!

It's pretty nice and when you consider the price, it's awesome.

I have a version of the Tamrac filter wallet you linked earlier. I have a number of filters (CPL, IR, ND) and step-up rings stuck into it. With the flap pulled tightly, the filter glass would smoosh up against the padding. If lint or dust did get thru the crack, it'll land on the ring. The inside is nylon so cleaning is simple a wet wipe will grab most anything there.
