A few days ago our two dogs got out of our yard. Dexter here was clipped by a car but escaped injury. Our Lab-Chow, who we have had for 6 years was not so lucky. He went over the hood of a car.The lady that hit him was flying down the street and never even hit the brakes. I can tell Dex is missing his buddy

Sorry to hear about your animals.

As for the pictures, that streak of sunlight is distracting, but you can't really choose where the dog lays down.
Other than that it's sharp, focused on his eyes, and looks pretty good.

I love the one of your son and the dog, although I would probably crop his feet out of it,

I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope Dexter's heart heals soon.

Thanks Randi- He has been getting a lots of extra attention. It makes me sad to watch him. He does stuff like he won't lay in his own bed, he lays in the other dog bed, which he never did before.

Echo- I appreciate the critique and compliments. I just take pics as a hobby but I love learning as much as I can. I was playing with a new lens when I took these. I thought the same thing about the streak of sunlight! (I have blinds on the window and it was late afternoon sun) I knew he wasn't going to lay there long, so I just snapped it real quick.

Funny thing, I thought about cropping her feet too (I swear!) But then I was thinking about how everyone is always talking about not chopping feet and other body parts, but then again, I had already chopped off the dogs legs when I took the pic, so I guess I had already done it..lol
