Caught this guy out the car window on way home from work late afternoon. He was pretty high up in the tree resulting in a pretty tight crop.

Still an awfully pretty woodpecker Janie and I'm envious because my local population is unfortunately in decline.
You really did a very good job on him/her even though you were "altitude" challenged - :)
