Wow Neil, you did an excellent job of pulling that owl out of a backlit/sidelit situation....I'm extremely impressed!
And that same backlighting takes a wonderful shot of that shortie into the realm of the extraordinary in my book. Is it on your wall yet? Well....why not!!

Very well done. The field into which I shoot is south of our house, so I end up with a lot of backlit situations and hate it. You did a great job making it work for you.
