If this is inappropriate here, the mods can move it or kill it entirely. I thought I'd start this thread here to give people a place to discuss it instead of taking up the other threads in the HDR forum.

My comment:

Sorry to continue this one more time, but personally, I haven't seen either party defend or admit to anything, so the jury is still out. It would be a shame to find out that Victor's stuff really isn't. But it is also strange that the other person has disappeared. We don't know the facts behind it yet. I agree, the photos left on flickr are the same/similar style, and some very nice work. I also see quite a bit more variety on his account. Very interesting indeed. Hopefully, something will surface that straightens it all out and leaves Victor's cred in tact, but it doesn't look good.

The "other person" is gone from POTN, and I find that strange. But he also has a VERY solid flicker account and recommendations from his exploration buddies who all also have impressive portfolios.

Victor has been on POTN since this started (7 hours ago, according to his profile). He has to know what's going on. It's time for him to speak up if he can clear his name and reputation. If he doesn't, that tells me plenty, coupled with the other evidence on flicker and other sites.
