I was just about to purchase an used one to replace a damaged one, when I checked B&H for price ref and saw the discounted price. Great deal..

i recieved it from B&H yesterday, amazing lens and amazing deal even though i had to MA it right after it came out of the box

It has been at this price for last 1.5 months and probably will last until the rebates expire on Feb 4. Adorama has the same price and you can get 2-3% cashback through cashback sites. It is great price

There was that one day that amazon and B&H had it for 1099. Unfortunately I got it for 1205 on black friday... I guess it could have been worse.

Yup same here

Used prices have come down and remember the asking price is rarely the actual selling price.

I saw it the day it was $1099 and thought about buying a couple but in the end decided not to as I don't like the flippers and didn't want to be a hypocrite.
