I'm trying to perfect my painting abilities using Topaz's Buz Sim product. Here is a shot I did in Alaska, under inclement weather conditions. I then subjected it to the Topaz Buz Sim application. It really gives the shot more pop and definately looks painted. C & C always appreciated and respected.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Hey Al, is it me or does #1 look really 'noisy'??

#2 has an interesting look, almost like a painting (almost like "Bob Ross" painting).

Hi Koala. Thanks for taking your time to look and comment. As I stated, this photo was taken in extreme weather and it was almost nighttime. Having said that, I did take your suggestion and ran the photo through a De Noise program. Check out the results.

Hi Al,
That looks a bit better than the original, though with extreme weather and near dark, I'm sure 'some' of what I'm seeing is just the available light & weather affecting the water.

Still like #2 for that 'almost a painting' effect. :D

I really like these Al. They are both beautiful. The photo is spectacular, especially after the noise was cleaned up. I would have that one hanging on my wall. What is causing the warm reflection in the center? Is it the moon or something?

Hi Paul. Thanks for looking and the positive comments. Actually the glimmer was caused by a very brief appearance of the sun. As you probably know, the time schedule for a day in Alaska is quite different than it is in the lower 48. This shot was taken around 9:00pm, in the rain with fog everywhere. Al

I like the actual image.
The noise removal is removing too much of the background detail, maybe back off on it somewhat.

just a few of my thoughts...
