I need to work on pre-visualizing my framing. They all tend to come out as square crops for me :p

Now that's funny. I just said the same thing to my wife last night while going through my daughter's sweet 16 party photos. I've been framing for square a lot lately but I didn't realize it until this weekend. I wonder if this is simply a matter of accessibility when it comes to frames. I know that when I started shooting back in the late 80s, square frames were fairly rare and usually expensive. Now you can find square designs all over and 8x8 isn't any more expensive than 8x10.

this looks great man! maybe you could just get rid of that darker rectangle in the water and it would be good :)
