These look great Martin. You picked the perfect compositional elements that would accentuate the Brenizer method. Awesome!

From the weekend - with people (not very stationary ones) in!

Decided landscape version looked better - what do you think?...

I agree with Josh. I also like both versions. Each deliver something different. How about combining the 2 and use a square format?

From my last wedding:...

I think the background is too blurry, (too much bokeh). Can't make out what it is that the beautiful wedded couple is standing in front of. The reason for using the Brenizer method here is lost. The background scene should be blurry enough to isolate the subject(s) yet, still clear enough to make out what it is. That's the beauty of using this method.

^^ It's a beautiful image. Unfortunately, there's no other objet at or near the focal plane to give everything some depth. However, this will work though if your goal is to create massive prints out of your images :).

A little "street" Brenizer, I was just waiting for my flight when I saw this guy taking a rest. 22 snaps later, here's what I got :). Done on the 135L at F2. It's an awesome lens.

Yes good idea.

Also re-stitched after correcting exposures (accidentally left in Av), this time I converted the 37 images to half size jpgs first - a lot quicker in PS!!

Oooh yes, I really like it. Now, it shows the interesting leaning branch (almost whole branch) at the top and the leaning trees on the right side. Plus, putting your subject at the center works out well with the square format.

IMO, you should have left the exposure the way it was. The previous exposure brings out the DOF better. At least that's what it seemed from my monitor. If I'm not seeing it correctly, please forgive me and disregard this comment. One day, I need to calibrate this monitor and see if it's displaying correct or not.

Awesome Martin. I think I prefer the exposure on the first two cut though :). Great subject for a Brenizer, and putting your son there just makes it even more interesting.

46 Shot Brenizer of these awesome duo jamming it in the streets of Chicago. I don't normally stop and listen but these two were good! Trying to shoot moving musician can be a challenge, so a bit more time tweaking the stitch was needed on my part :). Also, I focus stacked so that both the drummer, as well as the guitarist are in perfect focus.

Nice!

Tricky doing paving - the glitch on the right draws the eye a little.
