Yeah I wasn't completely square on with it. Had to pose the couple and when I went back I THOUGHT I was squared up but wasn't.

Been on a whirlwind trip around Europe with the family (yes, all 13 of us ). At any rate, here's one of our stops at St Peter's Cathedral in Trier, Germany.

Here's my first attempt at using this with people and only the 2nd attempt ever (first was a mail box)

85mm f1.8 cropped down to around 13 or 14 images.

Quality is just a screen grab from my blog, since I'm on a different PC.

I just did a 103 image one of a couple infront of a chapel, we'll see if the PC can handle stitching them together.

Looks good Jim. Sometimes, having the couple stand a little back will give you additional points of interest / depth objects, as the stair / pier will have more layers of in and out of focus areas.

When you stitch 103 images or so, just UN click the blend images together to improve rendering times, and figure out whether or not it will auto blend and arrange.

56 shot Brenizer with Tamron 70-200VC at 113 and 2.8. I had to use the smaller aperture because I was strobing it with the Cheetah CL360 on a photek softlighter

The 1st is a great use of the method.

The last is doesn't seem so brenizer -how many shots used? But I really like it!

I do find that I need to think about composition a bit more if I want to do a more Brenizer shot. In general, repeating element (like what you had, a bridge, a column of trees, etc..), it really needs to be tight around the subject so that it's captured at the same focal plane. Otherwise, you'll be forced to crop wide, or not have enough of the background go in / out of focus to give it the 3D punch.
