Why do people put that in their listing in the classifieds? If an item is for sale, one would assume it was priced accordingly!

That is only accurate about 50% of the time. Canon 50D | Canon 17-55 | Sigma 30 1.4 | Canon 70-200 2.8 IS II| Canon 85 1.8 | 430EXII| 580EX ll | ST-E2 | Canon TC 1.4x II | Benro Travel Angel C1682TB0

Just consider it marketing, like new and improved. Hehe...it was kind of a rhetorical question...just struck me as silly. Cameras and lenses...

I apologize I should have had the price way below what it's selling now. I was trying to move merchandise in a hurry to fund a camera on craigslist and thought "price to sell" would get a few more looks. Again I apologize. I couldn't change title after and felt dumb. Consider me a satellite forever orbiting, I knew all the rules but the rules did not know me...GUARANTEED

I still think $1,050 for a 35L in excellent condition is a smokin deal, considering after feb 4th it will go up to $1400-what I paid. My 5D I posted priced to sell, is in like new condition for a great price as well... Nope...wasn't referring to you or anyone else in particular. Just thought it was odd that so many used this line in a title...then again...I'm a bit odd so maybe it's just me! Cameras and lenses...

There have also been a few listings with "firm" prices that have dropped 3-5% per update over the course of a few days/weeks. It seems to me that if someone is firm, then they would rather keep it than take less than the stated amount. People are free to change their mind, but the choice of wording keeps striking me odd...
