Is that chip reporting correctly, Regan? EXIF says f1.4. I would have liked to see more DoF, like f16 or so in that shot, but maybe the blowing snow would have made it moot anyway.

I love the smiley face on the tree.:D:cool:

Yep M_Six I shot it at 1.4 on order to get a shallow dof. I shot a couple at f5.6 and f8, but f1.4 was more suited to the look I was going for.

Did you plan that out? It's slanted, the people are walking away from you and backlit, the woman's head is cut off, and yet it is a superb composition (IMHO). There are lines running lower left to upper right, then bottom center-left to top left, and the whole time there is some action between the mother and her child that keeps tugging your eye over that way. Really cool. I'm just trying to get into your head at the time you hit the shutter.
