I think that's a very nice result for your first HDR attempt....I should be so lucky - ;)
I have to ask though whether the sky was naturally stormy looking or did you tone that in? Whichever, I like the darker sky here.

Thanks guys,

I have similar angle with the curve signs not in the frame, I like them in this shot as it shows the road and all.

Yes the sky was very dark and ominous, with a big hole and area of blue sky behind me to let the sun though to.

Beautiful shot of one of my favorite roads. This is the type of shot where HDR is a great tool. I'm sure it would have been a bit flat without it. You executed it just right.
