I used a 1d4 and a 100-400L lens. The bird was relatively close; filled about 25% of the frame. Those are cropped.

Very nice series there Jason.
I really like the first where he/she was banking away from the sun and the underwing lighting is best. You could actually crop a little closer and I wouldn't be disappointed ;)
