Just a curiosity here – I thought I’d utilize this massive pool of 330K users here on this forum to conduct a poll –

What bodies are you primarily using with your Canon 24-70L and/ or Canon 24-105L lenses?

Any combination for me, but not the 24-105 on full frame because of horrible distortion and vignetting.
I was using a 5D2 with both lenses, now both sold...

Need to set the poll so that we can give multiple answers... I use both 1.6X and FF cameras with 24-70 and 28-135. If I had a 1.3X camera, I'd certainly use that with the lens, too.

One also needs to put a little thought into how to interpret the result of this poll.

Number of format users probably runs 1.6X >> FF > 1.3X. So the number of responses will likely run the same unless preference is hugely skewed towards 1.3X or FF.

the lens is designed for FF. Anyone body can use it, but you get it's full potential on a FF. for 1.6 crops, you're better off with a 17-50 range since there's a portion of glass that's essentially not used and the FOV is not optimal.

Unless of course your subject happens to fit in the frame... ;)
