Santa Fe Wall Photo

Same subject but a couple different crop/compositions.

Opinions/comments/favo​rite on cropping?? (or anything else)

I like showing the wall texture/cracks above the wood cabinet/window. But maybe tooo much in some cases? Centering might be boring, but maybe the subject/colors/texture​s carry it thru... ?

I found alleys & behind buildings worked well.

Number 2 is the one I like best. Not liking the watermark across the image though.

The watermark ruins the geometric patterns of the door and windows and also obscures the face in #3. Like #1 the most. The new plywood in the left window of #2 detracts from the over all image.

I like the colors, but I can't really tell anything else though the watermark, sorry.

I am easily distracted by this type of watermark, makes it difficult to focus and I lose interest in looking.

Watermark should be fixed now. Still working thru various watermarks. I had some food photos 'borrowed' and the lower right smaller watermark cropped. So I felt compelled to cover more of my images. Sorry for the distraction.

#2 for me as well - it pops. But why use your name twice in your watermark? Just using a one-liner with your website should do it.

Just for online/forum display stuff. I know I really don't need the copyright line, but for the casual borrower it might help unauthorized borrowing of my prints. As I said above I had some food photos borrowed and my lower right watermark cropped out, so a bit of paranoia. That's why I went to the semi-transparent larger watermark I had originally. On some shade/color prints it's less obtrusive, other color/shades it is more obtrusive. I can't set the transparency for each print, on Smugmug it's for an entire gallery.

Shame about the brick...
