Geeesh! You are so right! I remember when most of these came out. What do you remember?

  • I remember my first "portable" phone, like a small briefcase.
  • My Uncle Tony had a Kodak Brownie back when I was in elementary school and he was always taking pictures at family outings.
  • The Sony VHS video recorders that were like 10 or 12 pounds
  • Pong - greatest thing (at the time) in video, and then they came out with the add-on rifle that you shot the moving white square on the TV... WOW!!
  • Wolfenstein - Greatest thing (at the time) in video games... A first person game. Refreshing new perspective, especially since you have already gone through all the levels of Commander Cody and the original Duke Nukem'
  • Only one TV in a house, the rich kids had 2. The really rich ones had color TV.
  • LP Records - Still have many of the ones from my teens (trust me, they will come back, just like 8 track tapes will...)
How many of you remember 8" floppy disks?
