I haven't posted in the pet forum so here is my first. I met this dog and his owner on the beach while riding my bicycle. This dog's focus was entirely on that ball as long as someone would throw it.

That's a great use of perspective! And yes, I'd say that is indeed focus.
Curious whether you also captured in portrait orientation to include the whole dog?

It's a landscape with my waterproof P&S which is why it's so noisy. I probably have the entire dog in the original. However, I wanted to show the intensity on the dog's face without too much distraction, so this is what I chose for a crop.

Love it! Had a friend with two German Shepards. He could put a treat in front of each of them and they would literally sit patiently for hours for the command. He could go out of the room, leave the house, and they'd still be there waiting. he'd give the command and they'd squeal with delight.
