Eagle with a moon background

I have never tried to produce a composite image before. Tonight I was bored so I took a recent Bald Eagle shot and an old moon background shot and combined them using my GIMP software. Not too bad for a first try..........

I like the concept you've put together there Ira; I've often thought of trying that also.
To me and my eye, it might improve slightly if the moon were a tad higher in the frame....just a thought.

I like, but you might want to rotate the moon 90 degrees clockwise. I don't think I have ever seen the half-moon like that. :)
