Since there are no Snowy Owls in California so far this winter, we'll just have to settle for Wood Ducks.

The second one...the composition doesn't really have anything; it's a picture of a duck.

The first one is better. Better composition and the water drops falling off his bill are neat. Gives some extra life to the image.

Both look a bit oversaturated on my monitor.

Love # 1 eye level of the bird .......AWESOME and cutting through the water .....DOUBLE AWESOME.

Both images are excellent, but that first image is definitely extra special in my book.
