Red Fox playing in the snow just off the highway. Not very good light, cloudy that day. Shot with the Canon 7D and 400mm f5.6.
C @ C welcome

Well done with difficult lighting. Exposure looks very good with a snow background. Really like the first one.

Ya just never know when opportunities will present themselves do ya Troy. You certainly did an admirable job with this opportunity! The first three show a lot of personality.
I do have to pick on ya a little though about the feet in the last image....oh how nice it would have been to have feet in that one - :)

Really nice shots! I see you took these with a 400mm lens.. that should keep you a safe distance away. But, how aggressive are these things. Neighbors have told me that we have some in our densely populated NJ neighborhood and I imagine it is just a matter of time until I see one while out walking my small dog.

Thanks Harry. I was in my truck when I photographed these. There were young and dumb. An older adult I've never been able to get closer than a 100 yards from one. unless there sick they are not aggressive. And you can tell right away if there's something wrong with them and just don't go near them.
