I'm not too old, but I remember in grade school booting the 2 color Apple II with a 5.25" floppy and then swapping in our program disks to run such exciting programs as "turtle" and "Oregon trail".

THen I moved to a small town and even in the mid 90s we had to boot 286's with no HD off of a 3.5" DOS floppy and run wordperfect with all the PITA shortcut keys.

So yeah, we've come a long way. I do remember paying over a hundred for my first CF card and that was only 64MB, and I was living in style cause it could fit 120 songs on my HP Jordana pocket PC (which was also more money than an Ipad is now).

It feels so wrong but deep in my heart I want this.

Too many times I wanted the raw and didn't have it. Too many times I turn on raw in the camera and then don't take that one shot. The braindead Canon menus don't allow me to go through the shots during a break and delete just the raw from the ones I don't feel strongly about, it's delete both jpeg and raw or nothing. This card means freedom.

Plus, I can get rid of my desktop computer :D

My imagine composition sucks. I need a heavier lens.

Well, it was hard to fill using DOS text. This was an 8088 machine.
