I don't usually post feeder shots, but I had to this time. This little siskin chased all the other birds away, including the much bigger spotted towhee. I had a flock fly in 2 days ago for a few minutes and I believe this one returned by itself and has hung around.

Nice shots. I have a pair of Nuthatches with the same bad attitude!
What's wrong with posting birds at the feeder?

Thank you. 2slo nothing is wrong with having feeders in the image. I've done it many times, especially if I don't have an image of a certain bird. But, I prefer a natural look and strive for that, even if a feeder is near by.

He's definitely not happy about something!
I'm glad you posted these too Rex because by the time the siskins get here in the dead of Winter they don't seem to have near that much yellow in the wings. I would have never known. BTW - don't send that one down here - ;)

This is just so typical siskin behaviour - bullies at the feeder!

Thank you, everybody. Steve, don't worry, I don't think this bird is going to Georgia. :)
