Cute doggies. A fill flash would help with dark-faced critters in backlit snow.

I have a lumniquest that I could put on the flash so It does not hit them directly. I never use flash for action because I have never been sure the distance the flash can cover?

Cute. I'd lose the cheesy vignette borders.

Check out my feedback here.

With fill flash you don't need to worry about that too much since it's not the main light. Just experiment a bit and usually you can find a good range where it's effective.

+1 on fill flash.

You can dial down the flash so that it can fill without becoming the primary light source. 1/4, 1/8, 1/16... just a little fill can go a long way.

#2 is my favorite...they are really playing "together" in that one. Nice capture!

1D-III with stuff to stick on it:
70-200L, 28-70L, 24-105L, 300L, 50, 10-17 fish, 2.0x TC
Image editing OK, encouraged, and expected. Thank you for helping me learn!
