Strange question..Diffuser for built in Flash

I was wondering if anyone had ever fashioned a diffuser for the built in flash for Canon Ellan or 10D type cameras?
I'm trying to come up with something besides a piece of white cloth, so any "macguyver" ideas are welcome.

You can try using a fag paper (which come in different thicknesses) as a low cost option. It'll probably stay on with a bit of lick.
