Solvang Sunset

We rarely have vivid sunsets due to the location of the town. This was an exception.

the orange sky and orange roof top go very well together, but there's just to much sky. Try cropping some of the sky, at least half.

Frank, you are probably right about losing some of that sky. It was so overpowering the lens just kept floating up toward it, and it was getting so dark I didn't expect to be able to salvage much detail out of the town. Sunsets change so fast there ends up being a lot of 'winging it' involved.

I'd have to say otherwise here. Try cropping a little off the bottom and leave that wonderful sky alone.

Also, maybe boost up the exposure a bit at the bottom to show a bit more detail.

I'd say leave the sky and brighten up the ground detail if possible.
