Good stuff.

Few simple things to improve on though.

1. When having a white background make sure the whole thing is white where are a few of them where the back ground gets darker towards the bottom in the corners.

2. It seems like the pictures are consistently focused on the clothes and/or body instead of the person's face/eyes. Which takes the interest away from the person and towards the clothing or tattoos. So watch your focus point.

My favorite from the grouping is this one: http://i1100.photobucket.com …Da%20Anomoly/IMG_1826.jpg (external link) But it does suffer from the dark corner thing.

Awesome job though as you are just starting out.

Your photos - i mean most of them - seems out of focus on his face/eyes. Is that true or my eyes acting strange?

About the dark corners, i think it helps draw attention to main subject, so i don't mind about this much.

Nice photos, by the way :D.

Nope that was the weakest point of the images to me.

Yeah i think your focus is off on all of them too.. be sure to get the focus exactly on the eyes, thats where it matters most.. maybe u have a slight lens calibration problem

and lighting on the other hand semms quite good, maybe use a reflector on the left side to fill in the dark shadows a little bit

Couldn't look through them all - way too many; but the ones I did all look like they need to be sharpened or as others have said better focus. For the informal shots I think something besides a white bg would have worked better maybe even a dark bg.

Yep... I agree with the rest of the cats, it seems you missed the focus on these pics.... It appears that you either let the camera choose your focus points... The first few look like his chest was sharp and focused but his eyes are "El Soft-O" (soft)

I wonder how they could have come out soft. I chose the focus point in each picture and made it a point to focus on the eyes. How do you go about testing and calibrating that?

1st set, I like #3 the best. The first 2 seem too "posed". The 3rd he looks more relaxed and in his element.
Too many photos to go through.

Might have happened in conversion to web. Quick check of focus is to mount something like a flat newspaper at 45 degreeangle, focus on the middle wide open then look at the result.

I think this photo would benefit from the use of a reflector. Other than that they look good.
