I need to take an SLR into a biosafety lab. Unfortunately, if it cannot be decontaminated, it cannot be taken out of the lab. I suspect that there are some relatively inexpensive housings that can be purchased that are resistant to chemical disinfectants and ethanol? This would be for a T2i with a Sigma 150mm f/2.8 macro lens.

Not cheap, but it would work.

Get any of the inexpensive underwater "bag" housings.

I have worked in a biohazard lab and I am not sure that you need to have a dedicated camera just for use in the lab. What is the biosafety containment level. You may want to double check with the safety officer at the lab.
