Has anybody used one of these? If so, do you recommend it?

I bought it in a moment of weakness. I agree there are certainly alot more cost effective methods of attaining your custom white balance. My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

I've used it for custom white balancing and to take incident light readings and it works great for both of these. Yes, it's expensive but I haven't regretted spending the money. It's also more durable than a grey card. Although I don't own one, you may want to look at a WhiBal as an alernative.
