awesome photos!

someone asked a similar question 2 weeks ago. its not automated, but its not that hard either if you have a sturdy tripod: https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1196837

Have not posted much. Been playing with handheld three exposures. Image is Cape Hatteras Marina. Comments are always welcome.

Hand held? Very nice. I like the composition and light here as well.

Thank you imjason, for the praise & the link.

I will try to understand this.

If you want more range, you an go: -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, +1, +2, +3, +4.
how i do it:
1. AEB set at +2/-2
2. find the 0 EV.
3. set shutter speed to -2ev, take first 3 shots.
4. set shutter speed to -1ev, take second 3 shots
5. set shutter speed to +1ev, take third 3 shots
6. set shutter speed to +2ev, take last 3 shots.

This was a single image process w/ Photomatix. I tried to go for a more natural look. I feel the saturation is pushed a bit too much but overall I like the processing.

I used to HATE Photomatix before on an older version!! Since I've had Pro4 earlier this year though it performs [for me at least] so much better :)

Not sure if it was me or the place but this is looking to be my favourite set/location so far & I'm not even a third the way through them yet!!!!

Thank you. I think I could have done with a -4 EV I think but I'm happy with it.
