Nice one Matt!

Nice image Paul. As Rose says it's not the most active thread... Hope to start posting more here this year.

Thanks TC! All of my HDR is done in photomatix so I'll be back in, no doubt. :)

and meant to say - loved that image Paul! Even although I'm basically a country type girl at heart I do love to see some of these incredible HDRs of cities. Loved Shanghai when I went there almost three years ago, and would love to go back with current camera and a bit more knowledge.

Gosh I had a high end Panasonic point and shoot then, and now am on my second DSLR!

Thanks Rose! I love night time cityscapes. :) ...And haven't you just become the DSLR maven! ;)

Maven - I'd never heard that word before and had to Google it! Might be stretching things a bit! But thanks :-)

Didn't have tripod so couldn't bracket in camera. This made in Lightroom, created 6 virtual copies, then into Photomatix. It brings up the midtones better than the single image.

Old School 1948 and Bianchi...LOVE both of your processing styles! Do you have special software to get that look, or can one do it with basic stuff?
