It actually looks REALLY good, IMO. Seems the only fail is the price tag, and that always drops with time.

I haven't read the review yet, but I sure hope it'll be good.

If the 1-series is good, Canon will hopefully start to reduce the price of the G1x sooner.

If the 1-series is good, Canon may come out with a nicer G13 or G2x to compete.

Finally, if the 1-series' hybrid AF is indeed as fast as DSLRs', I might get one for personal use....  :p
