This photo was snapped while we were watching television last weekend. Our cat was napping, but woke as soon as I picked up my 1D. This was shot with available light, using my Tamron 28-75 at f2.8 with a shutter speed of 1/30 ISO1250 RAW. The photo has been processed to remove noise and adjust levels.

My wife was actually rather relaxed that evening... she gets tired of my having my "toy" with me every where we go.

I used Noise Ninja to aid in cleaning up the noise... this is how the original photo looks like, right out of the camera with no touch up. The second is what it looks like at 100%. I must say that this is one of those times I like my 10D much more... even at ISO 1600, the 10D doesn't show this much noise.

Here's a 100% crop after running through noise ninja and a small bit of levels adjusting on PS7.
