Hey all. I have a shoot next weekend that is going to require a little more fire power than I own. Since my work schedule is rather crazy, I was looking into an online rental company to get the strobes from. Looks like what I need are 2 strobes of 400w/s to 640w/s.

What are some god places to rent from that you have either heard positive feedback or had a good/bad experience with. Thanks!

in big bear? Not too many photo shops in that area. I'm sure ontario might have a few rental places.

You are right. Nothing up here in Big Bear. I have looked into Samys and some other places in the IE, but with my work schedule I don't think I can do the pick up and return. The shoot will be on the slopes that day for a ski race team. I've been looking at borrowlenses.com and they seem good, but just seeing what members here recommend for an online rental company since I don't think I have the time to pick up in person.

LensProToGo in Concord MA also does rentals of AB gear. Don't know what the linking policy is here, but a quick google should pick it up...

Never for studio lights, just lenses, but I wouldn't hesitate to use them for strobes too. I probably will after I get my garage cleared out and before I actually buy the gear I'll use.
